The Minority Engineer's Society (MES) aims to maintain the mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.  We are a chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) but we accept any member who cares to support our cause or who feels that they may benefit from our efforts.  We aim to serve as active member in our university, our community, and in NSBE through events, community service, and attendance of NSBE conferences.
