Screening: "This Palestinian Life" - Philip Rizk
GAZA IN FOCUS
Some people persevere despite the enormous odds stacked against them. This film gives voice to Palestinian villagers—women and men, young and old, West Bankers and Gazans—who recount their experiences of engaging in nonviolent resistance in an ongoing effort to remain steadfast (sumoud). The film also seeks to connect community leaders from the segregated Palestinian areas of Gaza and the West Bank with each other, so that they can build upon each other’s efforts and be inspired by one another’s sumoud.
